Development of the waste water field
Starting from the first of December 2009 NCR Biochemical has acquired from Ecoil WTS Ecologia (E.W.E.) the company branch concerning waste water products.
By inserting the ECOSANA line, the already large range of waste water products is increased of two important elements: photosynthetic and methanogen bacteria. These last bacteria are strategic ones because of the large expansion of anaerobic digesters.

N.C.R. Biochemical is confirmed as a "leader" in the paper field
After the recent rebuilding of Houghton group in the world, the Italian company N.C.R. Biochemical SpA, with an agreement signed on the 4th of February 2009, has acquired the paper division of Houghton Europe NV and of Houghton Italia S.p.A., plus manufacturing technologies of "Antifoaming" and "Coating for Yankee cylinder" products.
Therefore N.C.R. Biochemical SpA is confirmed as Italian leader in the production of "Specialties" for the paper field and strengthens its position in Europe.

Production's enlargement
After having started the new production plant of NCR Biochemical in RUSSIA, in Saint Petersburg's region (plant that is supposed to manufacture additives for paper markets of eastern Europe and the Asiatic area), the production site in Castello d'Argile, Bologna, is now being extended.
This extension will allow to produce new ranges of products, plus to increase the existing productive capacity.

We remind you that GDV Ausiliari Glaris has been acquired by N.C.R. Biochemical in April 2003 and has refined and improved many technologies and peculiar applications within paper production processes, spreading its action, together with N.C.R. Biochemical, on the international market.
Starting from September 2005, N.C.R. Biochemical Paper Division is just one company, that puts together commercial activities, structure and operational staff, thus bringing a technical support at all the levels of the productive process and water line. Water line is followed from the beginning to the end, passing by cooling process, steam production within cellulose, paper and cardboard production.
